GRP TREATMENT

GRP (Growth Factor Rich Plasma) Treatment, also called bloody mask or vampire mask offers a high level trehigh-levelmaking traditional PRP operation more effective with the help of activators.





WHAT IS GRP (GROWTH FACTOR-RICH PLASMA)?

GRP treatment uses approximately 10cc of blood that the doctor takes from your arm. This taken blood is turned at high speed (2000rpm) in a centrifuge, and at the end of the 9-10th minute, the rich plasma part is obtained from blood cells we call platelet and growth factors. An activator (buffy coat) is added, and the centrifuge is acquired again at a higher speed (4000rpm). This plasma is injected into necessary parts of the skin via ultra-fine tip needles. Thus, an increase in collagen and elastin, among the main structures forming our skin, are triggered most naturally.

GRP is a treatment that can be applied to every age group and gender. The ones that must not be used to are as follows:

  • Pregnants

  • The ones who have coagulation disorders such as hemophilia and anticoagulants

  • Persons who have number and function disorder of thrombocyte (platelet)

  • Cancer patients

NUMBER OF SESSIONS

Though it varies from person to person and according to the type of treatment, it is successful between 3-6 sessions on average.

DURATION AND INTERVALS OF SESSIONS

GRP session duration lasts 30-40 minutes, according to the size of the area. Though it varies from person to person, sessions are arranged in 2-3 week intervals. Following that, sessions are repeated every 7-8 months as supportive treatment.

POST-TREATMENT WARNINGS

After the treatment, there is no condition that the patient has to rest. The patient can continue their daily life. Throughout GRP treatment, sunbath and solarium should be avoided. After the end of the treatment cure, sunbathing is not harmful to the patient after the skin's sensitivity and purpleness are healed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which methods are GRP treatment applied, and is it a painful operation? GRP operation is made using two injection methods: napping and mesotherapy. Due to using local anesthetics before application, the pain during the insertion of an ultra-light needle is felt.

Is it possible that PRP applications create an allergic reaction? It does not create an allergic reaction because your serum is applied to your skin directly without any additives in the injection content.
